What Surface Treatments Are Required for Bending Parts?

The stamping parts processed by stamping parts manufacturers have many materials, such as bending parts, stainless steel stamping parts, stainless iron stamping parts, aluminum stamping parts, and so on. In this article, we are going to talk about bending parts, which have poor corrosion resistance in the air, especially in a humid environment, which is easy to rust. To obtain better bending parts, it is necessary to remove rust, that is, polishing the surface.

Ⅰ. The rust removal process of bending parts

1. There are only a few rusts and oil stains on the bending parts: copper rust degreasing agent - water washing - copper chrome passivation solution - water washing - copper protective film solution.

2. For bending parts with slight rust: copper degreasing agent - water washing - ultrasonic cleaning agent - water washing - copper chromium passivation solution - water washing - copper film treatment.

3. For bending parts with serious rust: treatment with copper degreasing agent - water washing - copper material pickling polishing solution treatment - water washing - copper material passivation solution treatment - water washing - and then copper material protective film treatment.

Due to the different sizes of stamping parts, the required performance of electrical and thermal conductivity welding, and the materials used, the rust removal process selected is also different. Metal stamping parts suppliers should make a specific analysis according to the specific situation, and then reasonably select the rust removal process for bending parts.
