Deep Draw Stamping Design Guidelines

Deep drawing is a form of metal stamping, examples of typical deep drawn components include cans, housings, and other containers. They are particularly well-suited for use in demanding environments where reliability and tight tolerances are critical, such as in the electrical and electronic technology industries.In addition, The parts obtains by deep drawing have been used to manufacture countless parts and components in the automotive, medical, aerospace, consumer goods, and alternative energy industries.

When we choose the deep drawing parts stamp process, need to pay attention to the following aspects:

1. Material selection: Deep stamping is suitable for thin metal materials, such as aluminum, copper, steel plate, etc.  When selecting a material, its plasticity and strength need to be considered to ensure that problems such as fracture or deformation do not occur during deep stamping;

2. Equipment selection: The selection of deep stamping equipment needs to be determined according to the size, shape and material of the workpiece.  At the same time, it is also necessary to consider the accuracy, stability, production efficiency and other factors of equipment;

3. Die design: Deep stamping die design needs to consider the shape, size, material and processing technology of the workpiece.  The design quality of die directly affects the quality and efficiency of deep stamping;

Process control: in the process of deep stamping, strict process control is required, including the installation, debugging of the mold and setting of processing parameters.  At the same time, it is also necessary to test and quality control the workpiece to ensure the processing quality and stability of the product.
